Things to remember at Christmas time

  • We don’t get to receive
  • It’s not supposed to be about how many presents we get
  • It’s not a competition of who got the best gift
  • Don’t overeat like crazy just because it’s the holidays
  • If you can’t afford a present, don’t put yourself in debt to get it. The person you’re getting it for should be someone you care about and who cares about you, so they shouldn’t mind that you couldn’t get them anything.
  • Good films, warm evenings, hot chocolate, good company, and festive cheer is at the top of my to-do list – and it should be for you, too
  • Hating Christmas doesn’t make you cool. Loving it for the right reasons does
  • Don’t let what other people are doing or getting make you feel down. Celebrate your way!
  • You have no right to tell people how they should celebrate (don’t even listen to me if you don’t want to!)

Enjoy the festive season no matter who you are, what you believe in, and how you spend it ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜
