At the start of this year, I challenged myself to go a month without social media. Because I host a blog and a podcast, I couldn't deactivate these accounts, really, and so my rule was that I couldn't use them for anything other than posting/sharing my content. And so, I deleted the apps from my… Continue reading Why It Quit Social Media in January
The Dizziness of Choice and Comparison (podcast)
These days we are breaking our necks by looking over all the fences around us. Looking at his garden and her garden; at what they're doing compared to us. It’s Forgetting Who You Are That Causes Pain
There is a lot of pain in forgetting. If we were able to readily remember all that we've ever felt, seen, heard, tasted, or experienced, we would probably feel a lot less pain because we'd have the power of knowing... Knowledge is comforting, at times. Knowing who we are, what we've done, and what we're capable of goes a long way in removing fear, worry, and pain.
Copacabana NY (poem)
Underground space always alive. Awake. Laughter, clinking glasses, dancing heels the song of the sax chant of the cello pull of the piano. Mystery is kept by smoky… Continue reading Copacabana NY (poem)

Lost and uncertain The space between a forgotten past and an elusive future grows. Thickens. Stretching across the black sea I'm surrounded. My boat drifts along the endless landscape of time. The Ache of Knowing (poem)
It is a horrid thing. Knowing the exact weight of choice. Knowing, from here, you fly or you fall. This is it. Loud are the opinions, the "advice" and judgement of others. Tip-toe ahead... or leap? from the cliffside Will wings grow as I fall? It hurts to be so aware. And it's… Continue reading The Ache of Knowing (poem)
