There is a lot of pain in forgetting. If we were able to readily remember all that we've ever felt, seen, heard, tasted, or experienced, we would probably feel a lot less pain because we'd have the power of knowing... Knowledge is comforting, at times. Knowing who we are, what we've done, and what we're capable of goes a long way in removing fear, worry, and pain.

Self-Exploration in 2020 (podcast)
This year I'm realising that my journey, my focus, my mindset is all about self-exploration. My content, therefore, will also be around this idea. Not self-development or self-help, per se, but exploring the self, the world, and life as we know it from all angles... Click to play! xx
Avant-garde (poem)
Avant-garde: I’ve never really been one to do things the right way. The normal way. No. I break rules, not because I’m a rebel but because the rules just don’t suit me. Is that wrong? I’m sorry. I’ve always been so sorry, for being this way. But not anymore. I can’t keep apologising for feeling… Continue reading Avant-garde (poem)
Certainties and Uncertainties in Life
Today I was thinking: we all have our certainties and our uncertainties. Let me explain... We found out that a girl at work was married, aged 25. How Others See Us: Identity
*Part of the Identity Series* When I asked my grandparents who they are, they couldn't answer. When I asked them how they thought others would describe them, they suddenly could answer. When I asked my mom, she listed some great things about herself, but then she said other people think this and that about… Continue reading How Others See Us: Identity
Embracing Life’s Spectrum: Living Free
We can free ourselves by thinking less black and white. Less us and them. Less "you are or you aren't". Because life should be lived on a spectrum. And this spectrum both sets us free and connects us... Personality & Identity We are never fully formed. People will have you believe that once you… Continue reading Embracing Life’s Spectrum: Living Free
Belonging & Community in Adulthood
*Part of the Identity Series* I believe that a lot of our personal struggles in adulthood come from our sense of Identity and Belonging. Why? Because we question who we are and what we're meant to do. These questions tie directly to our sense of Identity, but they also tie into the concept of Belonging...… Continue reading Belonging & Community in Adulthood
